🩸❤️ ADLAW PASALAMAT SA DUGONG HALAD
Tribute to Blood Donation Partners ❤️🩸
The Municipality of Dumanjug proudly celebrates the Arcadio Maxilom Award received from the Vicente Sotto Memorial Medical Center (VSMMC) Blood Services Unit, an honor that reflects the collective effort of a community united in one mission: saving lives through voluntary blood donation.
Over the past year, Dumanjug successfully collected 633 blood units through blood donation activities conducted in partnership with the DOH and VSMMC Blood Services Unit, helping more than 130 Dumanjug patients, as well as other patients in need of blood.
This recognition belongs, first and foremost, to our selfless blood donors. Every donation is an extraordinary act of kindness, giving hope to patients and families and providing someone with another chance at life. ❤️
A special thank you and congratulations to CEBECO I, Cebu I Electric Cooperative, Inc., one of our valued partners in promoting voluntary blood donation and community service. Congratulations as well on receiving the prestigious Rajah Humabon Award! Your recognition reflects your meaningful contribution to the community and your commitment to serving beyond your core mandate. ❤️🩸
We likewise recognize the health governance and leadership of Mayor Efren “Gungun” Gica, whose administration continues to support initiatives that strengthen healthcare services, encourage community participation, and build meaningful partnerships for the benefit of Dumanjuganons. Together with the Municipal Administrator, Atty. Loura Saromines-Alviola, Vice Mayor Wado Gica and the Sangguniang Bayan Council, this shared commitment creates an environment where community-based health programs can continue to grow and thrive.
We extend our deepest gratitude to our community partners, our Barangay Officials, Midwives, BHWs, BNS, civic organizations, private partners, volunteers, and everyone who continues to support and mobilize our communities for blood donation. Your cooperation, time, and commitment make this life-saving program possible.
Behind every successful blood donation drive is someone who patiently coordinates, follows through, mobilizes people and keeps the mission moving, even when the work happens quietly behind the scenes. To Nurse Rodeliz Reyes, thank you for your dedication, persistence and commitment to keeping Dumanjug’s blood donation program moving forward.
To every donor and partner who has shared their time, resources, compassion, and most importantly, their blood, thank you for being part of something bigger than yourselves. 🥰
Your blood is a gift.
Your generosity gives hope.
Your donation can save a life. 🩸❤️
Dumanjug, let us continue to give blood, give hope, and save lives.
