Celebrating the incredible journey of 10 Carle nurses who arrived in Illinois, USA this June! ✈️

It has been a joy to witness every milestone—from their warm airport welcome and meet-and-greet with Carle leaders and fellow nurses, to seeing them proudly wear their navy scrubs on orientation day. Our hearts are full as we celebrate this achievement with them, and we're even more excited knowing that more nurses will be embarking on this same journey in the coming months.

Meet Ben and Necille, two passionate Canadian Registered Nurses. Learning about this direct hire opportunity from their aunt Russia, who is a Filipino Nurse Practitioner with Carle for 19 years now, they registered through OCS in June 2022 and completed their pre-interview the very next day!

Through the TN visa process, they embarked on a 5-day journey across the U.S. border in Seattle and made their way to Champaign, Illinois in April 2024. They both officially started work at Carle on May 6, 2024.

Ben is now proudly working in the Rogers 8 unit, while Necille is working on Tower 6 of Carle Foundation Hospital. Their journey proves that new opportunities are just a road trip away!
