🧘‍♀️ International Yoga Day 2026

Yoga does not treat cancer.

But growing evidence suggests it can play a meaningful role in supportive cancer care—helping selected patients with sleep disturbance, fatigue, mood symptoms, and quality of life.

Studies such as YOCAS and recommendations from ASCO/SIO and NCCN have helped move yoga from the realm of “alternative medicine” toward evidence-based supportive care.

As oncology continues to evolve, treating the disease is only part of the journey. Helping patients sleep better, feel stronger, and live better matters too.

By sharing resources, stories, and support, communities can reduce stigma, promote prevention, and encourage individuals to seek medical advice for persistent symptoms like a sore throat, difficulty of swallowing, hoarseness, or unusual lumps.

Through awareness, screenings, and advocacy, we work towards better outcomes and a brighter, healthier futures for those affected and their families.
