The Cebu City Government continues to strengthen its commitment to improving the health and nutrition of young children through evidence based planning and multi sectoral collaboration.
On August 5, 2026, the Ramon Aboitiz Foundation Inc. (RAFI) presented the Systems Mapping Synthesis Report for Project SINAG (Sustainable Intervention for Nutrition and Growth) during a gathering held at the 8th Floor Executive Building, Cebu City Hall.
The presentation highlighted the findings of the systems mapping research conducted from April to May 2026, providing a comprehensive analysis of the interconnected factors affecting Early Childhood Health and Nutrition. These insights will serve as a foundation for the next phase of the project, LAG 4: Co Designing, where stakeholders will work together in developing strategic and sustainable interventions.
The activity brought together members of the Cebu City Nutrition Network (CCNN), Cebu City Nutrition Office (CCNO), Early Childhood Care and Development (ECCD) Office, representatives from various Cebu City Government departments, and the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) Cebu City, represented by LGOO II Danielle D. Camocamo.
By fostering stronger partnerships among government agencies and development partners, Cebu City continues to advance programs that promote healthier beginnings for children. Through collaborative planning and data driven decision making, the city aims to implement more responsive and sustainable nutrition initiatives in line with its vision of a Smart, Sustainable, and Inclusive Cebu City.
