The patients are afraid, uncertain, and carrying the weight of a thousand unspoken fears...
And yet, they hand you their trust without hesitation. Not because you are perfect, but because in their most vulnerable moment, they chose to believe in you.

That is not a privilege.
That is sacred.

And some days, despite everything you pour into it: the prayers, the vigilance, the sleepless calculations, it still isn't enough to keep them here. You lose them.

And you carry that loss quietly, because the world doesn't always see that behind every white coat is a heart that breaks too. 💔

The pain of losing someone who trusted you completely never fully leaves. But the next patient is already waiting: not knowing what you just carried, only knowing they need you.

So you show up. Broken and whole at the same time.

That is the quiet heroism of medicine.
