Today’s CPET Lecture & Workshop brought together expertise, innovation, and collaboration as we officially introduced our Cardiopulmonary Exercise Testing unit. From insightful discussions, to hands-on learning, the event highlighted our shared commitment to elevating diagnostic precision and patient care.

Before we find TB in patients, we must first find and correct how we understand it.

This World TB Day, our advocacy mirrored active case finding, not for patients, but for misconceptions.
Instead of waiting, we went directly to those who shape patient care: our nurses and resident trainees who frequently encounter TB in outpatient consults.

We conducted focused discussions using our TB infographics to address persistent gaps in knowledge that still exist, even among healthcare workers.
Because just like undiagnosed TB in the community, misconceptions can remain hidden, but continue to affect outcomes. By actively seeking and correcting these, we strengthen the very first step of TB control: EARLY RECOGNITION AND PROPER MANAGEMENT.

Yes, Pilipinas can and it starts with informed minds on the frontlines!

During the Cebu Roundtable Discussion on Clean Air today, community members, health experts, advocates, and leaders, including the Perpetual Succour Hospital’s Section of Adult Pulmonology and Critical Care and Department of Internal Medicine, headed by Dr. Peter Blanco, joined forces to share experiences, data, and actionable plans. By turning these conversations into concrete actions such as air quality monitoring, community awareness programs, and other collaborative solutions, we can create cleaner air and healthier lives for our fellow Cebuanos.
