🩺✨ A new name. A better understanding of women’s health.

PCOS, commonly known as Polycystic O***y Syndrome, is now being referred to as PMOS or Polyfollicular Metabolic O***y Syndrome.

Why the change?

Because many women diagnosed with “PCOS” do not actually have ovarian cysts. The new term better reflects the condition, especially its connection to:

• hormonal imbalance
• insulin resistance
• metabolism
• irregular ovulation
• long-term health

This shift helps create a more accurate and less confusing understanding of the condition while emphasizing that it affects more than just the ovaries.
