🌿 Limpyohi ang mga tanom ug palibot ug siguroha nga walay naipong tubig sa mga paso ug tanom.
🏠 Panglimpyo ug pangitaon ang mga posibleng breeding sites sulod ug gawas sa balay.
🤝 Makig-uban sa barangay sa weekly synchronized search and destroy sa mga breeding sites.

DAY 4 of MR-SIA and Vitamin A Supplementation Activity!

💪Protecting our children, one barangay at a time!

The Municipality of Clarin headed by Honorable Mayor Eugene E. Ibarra through the Clarin Primary Care Facility headed by Dr. Reina Jane V. Demandante has successfully conducted the Measles-Rubella Supplemental Immunization Activity (MR-SIA) at Barangays Katipunan, Buangan, Danahao & Tubod on August 13, 2026, bringing life-saving vaccines closer to our communities and helping ensure that our children are protected from measles and rubella. They were also joined with personnel's from the Department of Health Central Visayas Center for Health Development and Mr. Abelard Añana, DMO IV.

💉 Why is MR vaccination important? 👶
Measles and rubella are highly contagious diseases that can cause serious health complications, especially among young children. Vaccination provides strong protection and helps prevent the spread of these diseases within families and communities. By making sure our children are vaccinated, we help build a healthier, safer, and more protected Clarin. 💙

Vaccine works...

These two boys had been exposed to the same smallpox source. One had been vaccinated, the other hadn't. This picture shows the real difference, and the enormous importance, vaccination makes.
During 5,000 years of recorded human history, we have only eradicated one disease; Smallpox. In 1801, Edward Jenner hoped his discovery of vaccination would bring nothing less than the annihilation of smallpox. His hope was realized.
On this day in 1980 when smallpox was officially declared dead by the World Health Assembly.
