🎀 PINK OCTOBER 2026 | EARLY DETECTION SAVES LIVES 🎀
This October, the CTU–Consolacion joins the celebration of Pink October, a month dedicated to raising awareness about breast cancer and the importance of early detection.
đź’— Early detection can save lives. Breast cancer may not cause noticeable symptoms in its early stages, which is why knowing your body and getting appropriate screening are important.
🔎 Know the warning signs:
• New lump or unusual thickening in the breast or underarm
• Change in breast size or shape
• Changes in the skin, such as dimpling, redness, or unusual swelling
• Unusual ni**le discharge, especially if bloody
• Ni**le changes, such as inversion or persistent pain
🎀 What can you do?
✔️ Know how your breasts normally look and feel.
✔️ Report unusual or persistent changes to a healthcare professional.
✔️ Follow recommended breast cancer screening based on your age, risk factors, and healthcare provider’s advice.
✔️ Encourage your family and friends to prioritize their breast health.
Remember: Finding breast cancer early gives people more treatment options and can improve outcomes.
đź’— Check. Know. Act.
Because early detection saves lives.
