Hi i am Dr. Antonio Espino.

This is a patient of mine incurring a traumatic eye injury causing hemorrhage or bleeding in the conjunctiva.
There is not much harm done, however if the impact was stronger then it would lead to a blinding condition.

This is a reminder to please wear protective goggles when doing hi-impact jobs or activities that can cause projectiles to hit the eye.

A gritty sensation in your eye accompanied with a bright red conjunctiva may be caused by a foreign body. A normal response is to rub it, but it may cause a potential danger.
