Dr. Jose Rizal Memorial Hospital commemorated the AIDS Candlelight Memorial on May 29, 2026, at the Adolescent Center, Ground Floor, with the theme:

“Light the Legacy. Remember. Advance. Act.”

The observance began with a Free Rapid HIV Screening activity in the morning, followed by the AIDS Candlelight Memorial Program, spearheaded through the collaborative efforts of the Public Health Unit – Health Education and Promotion Office and the Infection Prevention and Control Committee.

This meaningful event served as a time to remember the lives lost, support and protect those living with HIV, and promote respect, understanding, and compassion within our community. It also reinforced the importance of HIV awareness, prevention, early testing, and the elimination of stigma and discrimination.

Together, let us continue to honor their legacy by advancing awareness and taking action toward a more inclusive and supportive society for all.

In observance of Prostate Cancer Awareness Month, Dr. Jose Rizal Memorial Hospital is offering FREE Prostate Health Screening Services for 15 male clients aged 50 years old and above throughout the month of June. Services are available on a pre-appointment basis only.

FREE Services Include:
✅ Prostate-Specific Antigen (PSA) Test
✅ Prostate Ultrasound
✅ Digital Re**al Examination (DRE)
