𝙃𝙤𝙥𝙚, 𝙝𝙖𝙧𝙙 𝙬𝙤𝙧𝙠, 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙖 𝙬𝙝𝙤𝙡𝙚 𝙡𝙤𝙩 𝙤𝙛 𝙝𝙚𝙖𝙧𝙩 — the Class of 2027 is officially one step closer to becoming the doctors they aspire to be. 🩺💙

The Bicol University College of Medicine proudly celebrated its Clerks’ Send-Off last May 29, 2026 at the BUCENG Gymnasium, honoring the hard work and dedication the brought our incoming clerks to this milestone.

As they step into the hospital wards and begin a new chapter of learning and service, may they carry with them the compassion and dedication that define the BUCM community, growing into doctors who heal with both knowledge and heart.

To the Class of 2027, good luck on your clerkship journey. The BUCM community is proud of you and will always be cheering you on every step of the way. ✨

| 𝗤𝗨𝗜𝗖𝗞 𝗜𝗡𝗙𝗢𝗥𝗠𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡 𝗔𝗕𝗢𝗨𝗧 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗥𝗘𝗩𝗜𝗦𝗘𝗗 𝗖𝗕𝗟

✅ARTICLE VI: Suffrage - Added a new article for “Suffrage” dedicated to student voting rights.

✅ARTICLE VII: The Executive Council - Expounded and specified the roles and responsibilities of all the Executive officers of the USC.

✅ARTICLE VIII: The General Legislative Council - CSC Presidents will not compose the GLC members, the following are the members of the GLC; CSC representative, President of UBOs, and the EIC of Publication and USC Executive officers shall serve in a non-voting capacity.

✅ARTICLE IX: The Student Judicial Council - Completely restructured the Judicial Council into an independent adjudicatory branch.

✅ARTICLE X: The Independent Student Commissions - Added a new article for the Student Commission on Audit and Student Commission on Extension.

✅ARTICLE XV: Accountability of USC Officers - Clearly specified the process, mechanism, and grounds of “Impeachment” to ensure rigid accountability measure to the officers.

✅ARTICLE XVI: Funds - More collective and democratic determination, and modification of the USC Fee.

✅ARTICLE XVIII: Amendments and Revisions - There will be no Constitutional Convention, in cases of amendments the Ad Hoc Constitutional Committee will be the one to facilitate revisions and amendments.

The University Student Council formally calls upon all bona fide students of Bicol University to participate in the University-Wide Plebiscite for the ratification of the proposed USC Constitution and By-Laws (CBL).

The proposed CBL, duly approved by the General Legislative Council and collectively crafted through consultations, deliberations, and institutional processes, seeks to strengthen student governance, accountability, representation, and service within the university.

We highly encourage every student to exercise their right to vote and become part of this significant milestone in the history of student leadership and representation in the university.

[𝐋𝐎𝐎𝐊] 𝐁𝐔𝐂𝐌-𝐌𝐒𝐂 𝐡𝐨𝐥𝐝𝐬 𝐢𝐭𝐬 𝐓𝐡𝐢𝐫𝐝 𝐆𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐥 𝐀𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐥𝐲 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐀.𝐘. 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓–𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔✨

As Academic Year 2025–2026 comes to a close, the Bicol University College of Medicine – Medicine Student Council gathered the student body for its Third General Assembly, marking the culmination of a year defined by service, collaboration, and student leadership.

Held on May 18, 2026 at the BUCENG Gymnasium, the assembly served as a venue to reflect on the Council’s accomplishments, present committee reports and year-end accomplishments, and recognize the collective efforts of the BUCM community throughout the academic year.

More than a closing program, the Third General Assembly celebrated the unity and commitment that carried the BUCM community through another meaningful year. As one chapter ends and another begins, the Council extends its gratitude to every student who took part in making this academic year a success.
