HINDI LANG PASYENTE ANG MAY KARAPATAN PUMILI NG DOKTOR NILA…

"3.9. Decorum and Behavior of a Physician

3.9.1 The physician shall be free to choose whom they will serve, except in cases of emergency"

🚨Maraming nagmimisinterpret nito na ang pinipili lang daw ng mga doktor ay kung sino ang may pera at kung sino ang may pambayad. Kita naman dito na walang nakasaad na ganun. Kung may karapatan ang pasyenteng pumili ng doktor na gagamot sa kanila, may karapatan din ang doktor na mamili ng gagamutin nila.

🚨Kung ang pasyente ay BASTOS, MAPANAKIT (ilang beses ko na ito naexperience sa ER) o nagdudulot ng PANGAMBA or PANGANIB sa doktor o kanyang mga staff, may karapatan ang doktor na tanggihan ang pasyente, UNLESS EMERGENCY. Maaaring bigyan ng FIRST AID at istabilize muna ang pasyente bago ito ilipat sa ibang doktor.

🚨Mahalaga ang TIWALA at RESPETO sa PATIENT-DOCTOR RELATIONSHIP. Kung walang respeto o tiwala ang pasyente sa doktor, hindi magagampanan nang maayos ng doktor ang kanyang tungkulin. Two way street po yan. Required kami maging professional and magalang. Pero required din ng equal respect mula sa mga pasyente.
