Measles is not just an ordinary childhood rash. It is one of the most contagious infections and can spread quickly among people who are not immune.

๐Ÿ‘ถ Watch for these signs:
๐ŸŒก๏ธ High fever
๐Ÿคง Cough and runny nose
๐Ÿ‘€ Red or watery eyes
๐Ÿ”ด Rash that usually starts on the face and spreads downward

Measles can sometimes lead to serious complications such as pneumonia, severe diarrhea, dehydration, or brain inflammation, especially in young children.

๐Ÿ’‰ The good news: measles is preventable.
The best protection is vaccination. Two doses of a measles-containing vaccine provide very high protection against measles. If your child has missed a scheduled dose, talk to your pediatrician about catching up.

โš ๏ธ If you suspect measles:
Don't simply bring your child to a crowded clinic or hospital without informing them first. Call your healthcare provider and tell them about the symptoms and possible exposure so they can advise you on the safest way to have your child evaluated.

Has your child developed fever, mouth sores, and small red spots or blisters on the hands and feet? It could be HFMD.

HFMD is a common viral infection in young children. Most cases are mild and improve on their own within several days.

Common symptoms:
๐ŸŒก๏ธ Fever
๐Ÿ‘„ Painful mouth sores
๐Ÿ–๏ธ Rash or blisters on the hands
๐Ÿฆถ Rash or blisters on the feet
๐Ÿ˜ด Tiredness or poor appetite

How can you help prevent it?
๐Ÿงผ Wash hands regularly with soap and water.
๐Ÿงธ Clean and disinfect toys and frequently touched surfaces.
๐Ÿฅค Avoid sharing cups, utensils, and other personal items.
๐Ÿ  Keep children who are sick away from close contact with others when possible.

๐Ÿ’ง Keep your child hydrated, especially if mouth sores make eating or drinking painful.

๐Ÿšจ Seek medical care promptly if your child becomes unusually sleepy, has difficulty breathing, has seizures, repeatedly vomits, or cannot drink enough fluids.

Medical evaluation is important when symptoms are severe or worsening.
