De La Salle University Medical Center (DLSUMC) is the largest tertiary training hospital in Region IV-A committed to providing quality, holistic and compassionate patient-centered medical care and services. DLSUMC, through its Infection Prevention and Control Unit (IPCU), partnered with DOH-CHD CALABARZON for a two-day Malaria Orientation on September 23-24, 2026.

Healthcare professionals strengthened their skills in malaria microscopy, surveillance, diagnosis, treatment, and management, with sessions led by Michelle Malawig, RMT; Cyrus Floyd Parailag, RMT; Mark Joseph Mitra, RN; and Dr. Antonio Bautista, Deputy Program Manager for Movement Against Malaria, Pilipinas Shell Foundation Inc.

As CALABARZON maintains its malaria-free status, continued vigilance and collaboration remain key to sustaining these gains.

On September 23, 2026, Lasallians, alumni, friends, and partners gathered at Eagle Ridge Golf and Country Club in General Trias, Cavite for the Green and Gold Swing for Scholars 2026.

More than a day on the golf course, the event brought the Lasallian community together in support of the DLSMHSI College of Medicine Scholarship Fund. Proceeds will help deserving students pursue their medical education and move closer to their dream of becoming healthcare professionals.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the College of Medicine, Silver Jubilarian Batch 2001, alumni batches, Institutional Student Council, sponsors, participants, volunteers, organizers, and everyone who helped make the event possible.
