Discharge na? Bago umuwi, siguraduhing handa rin ang buong pamilya para sa pagpapatuloy ng paggaling sa bahay.

Ang paglabas ng ospital ay isang mahalagang bahagi ng recovery. Ngunit hindi natatapos ang pangangalaga sa oras na makauwi ang pasyente. Mahalaga ring maunawaan ng pasyente at ng kanyang pamilya ang mga tagubilin ng doktor upang maipagpatuloy nang maayos ang paggamot.

Kung ikaw ang nag-aalaga sa isang magulang, anak, senior citizen, o kapamilyang bagong discharge, makatutulong ang pakikinig sa discharge instructions, pagsusulat ng mahahalagang detalye, at pagtiyak na kumpleto ang mga reseta at dokumento bago umalis.

Huwag mahiyang magtanong sa inyong doktor o nurse. Mas mabuting malinawan habang nasa ospital kaysa mangamba kung ano ang dapat gawin pagdating sa bahay.
