LOOK | BDRRMC CATALUNAN PEQUEÑO

Last night at exactly 7:30 PM, the BDRRMC CATALUNAN PEQUEÑO spearheaded by HON. Kagawad Rene T. Generalao, was deployed in response to the flooding brought about by continuous heavy rainfall in upland that affected some areas of Davao City.

Our responders immediately conducted flood response operations in Keith Williams at Barangay Catalunan Pequeño, Urban at Barangay Tugbok Proper, and at Bangkal area, monitoring affected areas, assisting residents, and coordinating with partner agencies to ensure the safety and welfare of the community throughout the night.

We extend our sincere appreciation to all responders, volunteers, and partner agencies who remained on duty despite the challenging weather conditions. Your dedication and selfless service truly embody the spirit of public service.

We also appeal to everyone with willing hearts. Some families in Keith Williams, Barangay Catalunan Pequeño have been significantly affected by the flooding. If you have extra clothing, blankets, food, bottled water, hygiene kits, or any other essential items that you can share, your donations would mean so much to those in need.

📍 Donations may be dropped off at the Barangay Hall for proper collection and distribution to the affected families.

Every act of kindness, no matter how small, can bring hope to those recovering from this disaster.

We, the Barangay Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Committee (BDRRMC) of Barangay Catalunan Pequeño humbly expresses its deepest gratitude for the Plaque of Recognition awarded to our barangay in recognition of being among the Top 20 Performing Barangays of Davao City. This distinguished recognition reflects our collective commitment to public service, disaster risk reduction and management, emergency response, and community resilience.

This achievement was not attained without sacrifice. Despite the countless hardships, sleepless nights, limited resources, challenging emergencies, and the risks faced by our responders in the line of duty, our commitment to serving the community never wavered. Every operation, every emergency call, and every act of service strengthened our resolve to protect lives and uphold the safety and welfare of our constituents.

We extend our sincere appreciation to the City Government of Davao, under the leadership of HON. Sebastian "Baste" Z. Duterte, for recognizing the dedication and perseverance of our barangay. We are equally grateful to the City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (CDRRMO), headed by PLTCOL. Alfredo D. Baluran, and Chief Operation Mr. Rodrigo Bustillo, for its invaluable guidance, technical assistance, and unwavering support in enhancing our disaster preparedness and emergency response capabilities.

Our heartfelt gratitude is also extended to our Barangay Council, led by HON. Rodrigo A. Tangaro, whose steadfast leadership and continued support have empowered the BDRRMC to fulfill its mission effectively. We likewise commend the dedication of our Committee Head, HON. Rene T. Generalao, whose guidance, commitment, and vision have inspired every member of the committee to serve with excellence, integrity, and compassion.

Most importantly, this recognition belongs to every BDRRMC operative, volunteer, supporter, and the constituents of Barangay Catalunan Pequeño. Your trust, cooperation, and unwavering support have been the foundation of every success we have achieved. This plaque is not only a symbol of excellence but also a tribute to the resilience, unity, and selfless service of everyone who stood with us through every challenge.
