Today, August 11, 2026, marks a meaningful milestone for us as we officially begin our partnership with Matina Aplaya Elementary School. 💙💛

We are truly honored and grateful to be given the opportunity to share our knowledge and expertise with the school community - to support teachers and parents, raise awareness, and advocate for the needs of every child. 🌱✨

Today was more than just a seminar. It was a step toward building a stronger, more inclusive, and more understanding environment where every child is seen, understood, supported, and given the opportunity to reach their full potential.

🌿 A little late, but we’re still celebrating Nutrition Month! 💚

Our little learners had so much fun during our Malunggay Picking Contest! 🍃 What may seem like a simple activity is actually packed with developmental benefits.

As children carefully pick each tiny leaf, they’re strengthening their fine motor skills, finger dexterity, pincer grasp, hand-eye coordination, bilateral coordination, attention, and concentration - all while practicing patience and perseverance.

And of course, it’s the perfect opportunity to introduce them to malunggay, one of nature’s superfoods, and help them appreciate healthy eating in a fun and meaningful way.

At Hands-on Therapy Center, we believe that the best learning happens through play - where every activity has a purpose, and every smile is a step toward growth. 💚🌱

A simple tool can make a big difference in helping children participate more successfully in their daily activities.

Our 40 × 50 cm, 2 kg Weighted Lap Pad is designed to provide deep pressure (proprioceptive input), a type of sensory input that many children find calming and organizing. When recommended by an Occupational Therapist, it can help children who have difficulty staying seated, frequently fidget, or need additional sensory input to improve their participation in tasks.

We are incredibly grateful to San Juan Elementary School for giving us the opportunity to speak with parents during yesterday’s seminar, “Spotting Developmental Red Flags: Why Early Action Matters.”

The seminar highlighted common developmental red flags, the importance of early identification, and how timely intervention can positively impact a child’s development and future success.

At Hands-on Therapy Center, we are passionate about raising awareness and empowering families with knowledge. We hope that through events like this, more children can receive the support they need at the right time.
