The Davao Doctors Hospital community deeply mourns the passing of a revered pioneer, mentor, and healer, Dr. Dante Escalante.

Dr. Escalante was an astute physician and mentor who inspired his students to care for patients holistically. He modelled a love for people beyond their illnesses. As one of the true pioneers of Internal Medicine in Davao, his impact extended far beyond our hospital walls. He was a socially responsible leader once serving as a City Councilor. His lifelong dedication was to the well-being of others.

His legacy is permanently woven into the history of Davao Doctors Hospital. It lives on in the countless lives he healed, the colleagues he inspired, and the generations of healthcare professionals he passionately mentored.

We extend our most heartfelt condolences to his family, loved ones, colleagues, and friends.

We are deeply grateful, Dr. Escalante, for your years of invaluable service, your enduring wisdom, and the profound contributions that have shaped our institution. Your memory will forever remain in our hearts.
