The Commission on Higher Education (CHED) officially opens the AHEAD Grant 2026, providing a one-time financial assistance amounting to ₱25,000 for qualified allied health students.

The grant aims to support students in addressing expenses related to Related Learning Experience (RLE), clinical internship, and other academic requirements necessary for the completion of their healthcare education.

Eligible students are encouraged to review the guidelines and prepare the necessary requirements for application.

UPDATE ON THE PREVIOUS ANNOUNCEMENT

Due to the nationwide transport strike announced by the transport group MANIBELA, disruptions in public transportation are expected, which may affect the commute of students and personnel.

In light of this, all onsite classes and office transactions are officially suspended on March 27, 2026 (Friday).

Instruction will continue via the institution’s official online platform (synchronous or asynchronous), as determined by instructors, while all offices will shift to a work-from-home setup.

Please be guided accordingly.

SUSPENSION OF CLASSES AND OFFICE TRANSACTIONS

In view of the inclement weather conditions and the suspension of classes announced by the City Government of Davao, all on-site classes and office transactions are suspended today, Friday, February 20, 2026.

Classes will proceed through the institution’s official online learning platform, either synchronously or asynchronously, as determined by the instructor. A work-from-home arrangement will also be implemented for all offices.

Everyone is advised to prioritize safety and take the necessary precautions.

San Pedro College (SPC) stood at 8th top performing school, the only Mindanaoan institution, in the December 2025 Physical Therapist Licensure Examination (PTLE).

Earning an 80.70% rating, 46 SPCian takers led the PT department to the feat.

The national passing rate was 77.14%.

A total of 1,198 out of 1,553 passed the licensure examination, which was taken on Dec. 6 and 7 across various testing centers nationwide.
