Ended Cleft Awareness Month with a bang through a celebration of every cleft, every journey, and every smile!

On August 1, 2026, Tebow CURE Children's Hospital invited patients, parents, partners, and participants from various local government units to learn more about clefts and celebrate the hospital's partnership with Smile Train. A total of 53 attendees participated through lectures about understanding cleft, the importance of speech therapy, nutrition in cleft, and oral and dental care for cleft patients. Selected participants also shared their journey in overcoming cleft and championing cleft patients.

We celebrate every cleft patient whose journey inspires hope and healing. Thank you, Smile Train PH, for a decade of partnership and for your help in our mission to help more kids heal. 💚

CUREkid Rage (left) and CUREkid Jaypee (right) became friends when they met at Tebow CURE hospital. They ended up playing together while in the cleft clinic. It was the first time we had seen Jaypee smiling and laughing, and we are so happy to see them opening up to each other. We are excited to see their journey toward full healing!

Starting our week with CUREKid Desirie's happy energy. During her recent clinic appointment, Desirie was sent to the physical therapy area, where she was taught exercises she could do at home, as she is now allowed to put full weight on her legs. Physical Therapist Audrey cheered on Desirie, saying she could do it, which made Desirie smile. Please continue to pray for Desirie's healing journey.
