𝙔𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙃𝙚𝙖𝙡𝙩𝙝, 𝙊𝙪𝙧 𝘾𝙤𝙣𝙘𝙚𝙧𝙣 The DIGOS DOCTORS’ HOSPITAL, INC.

is a duly registered open stock corporation established in December 20, 1991 by a core group of physicians driven by a common goal.......... to serve. It was an offshoot of the sudden closure of the hospital they were all working with, and in their desire for keeping up of their patients needs, they pooled their meager resources and thus Digos Doctors’ Hospital was born in an existing building which they rented along Rizal Avenue in Digos City. It was initially accredited as a 50 bed secondary health care facility under a memorandum of agreement that it shall build it’s envisioned physical plant in 5 years time. It didn’t take that long and Digos Doctors’ moved to it’s final home to where it’s now standing tall and proud in November 1995. It was approved as a tertiary level facility in March 1997 with an increased bed capacity of 75 beds. It’s phenomenal growth continued with the influx of new technology, equipments and arrival of some doctors and specialists. A three (3) level new structure has just been recently erected which would increase the bed capacity to 111 beds. Boasting of it’s complete facilities and medical staff, Digos Doctors’ enjoys being the center of health care in Digos City as well as outlying area in Davao del Sur and Region XI.

Davao del Sur Medical Society successfully conducted a Lay Forum at Digos Doctors Hospital in celebration of the 69th National Medicine Week held last September 21, 2026.

With the theme “Kalikasang Inaalagaan, Kalusugang Pinangangalagaan,” the activity focused on promoting awareness about Non-Communicable Diseases and Healthy Lifestyle Practices, which highlighted the importance of prevention, early detection, and maintaining healthier choices for a better quality of life.

The forum featured a discussion by Dr. Michelle Angeli G. Libre-Razote, who shared her knowledge and expertise in guiding the community toward better health practices.

Digos Doctors Hospital extends its appreciation to DASUMEDS and the Philippine Medical Association (PMA) for choosing our institution as one of the venues for this meaningful health education initiative.
