🔴 Blood Letting Activity at Barangay Binuay, Dimataling earlier today, July 22, 2026

Earlier today, the Municipal Health Office joined the Zamboanga del Sur 2nd Provincial Mobile Force Company (Revitalized - Pulis sa Barangay R-PSB), Philippine Red Cross - Pagadian Chapter and Barangay Binuay, in conducting a blood letting activity and medical consultations at Barangay Binuay, Dimataling.

Through the 2nd ZSPMFC’s QUICK RESPONSE PROJECT, and the participation of the different stakeholders, we are able to secure 31 bags of bloods.

Thank you 2nd ZSPMFC, headed by PTCOL Philmore Dumagat and Binuay Barangay Captain Idran Sarueda, together with the Barangay Functionaries, for inviting us, to Philippine Redcross Pagadian Chapter headed by Luther Villaflores, Jr. for being part of program, to those who came and most especially to all donors who unselfishly gave their blood to save lives.

To more life - saving activities in the future.

🔴 Deworming Activities in Barangays Josefina and Libertad today

The Municipal Health Office personnel conducted a deworming activities to eliminate to intestinal parasites avoiding nutritional deficiencies, stunted growth and anemia.

The DOH guidelines recommend deworming twice a year together with proper sanitation and hygiene.

🔴 Dengue Surveillance at Barangays Tinggabulong and Kagawasan, Dimataling

The Municipal Epidemiology and Surveillance Unit (MESU) of the Municipal Health Office conducted disease surveillance at Barangays Tinggabulong and Kagawasan, Dimataling today.

The Municipal Health Office emphasizes the importance of early detection of dengue disease as well as its prevention through 5s and community cooperation.
