When we are doing the daily struggles of life, handing over a phone or any gadgets as means to pacify your fussy child may buy us temporary comfort but it has its significant trade-offs.

Instead of using the screens, you can console your child by giving them time to express themselves, talk in a gentle manner, offer alternatives other than screens (playing with her favorite toy or book, change of scenery).

Avoidance of screens and your physical presence helps your little one regulate their "BIG" emotions as they navigate through the world.
