From a patient's perspective..

If you’ve never had a gallbladder attack, I hope you never do.

Because it’s not “just a bad stomach ache.”
It’s a deep, stabbing pain that takes over your whole body.

You can’t breathe. You can’t move. You just hold still and pray it stops.

It feels like your ribs are being crushed from the inside out, like labor pains and a heart attack decided to tag team you.

One second you’re fine, the next you’re doubled over wondering if you should head to the ER.

And no, we don’t get our gallbladders removed “for fun.”
We do it because something as simple as a sip of coffee or a bite of toast can send us straight back into agony.

Gallbladder pain is a beast.
If you’ve felt it, you’ll never forget it.
If you haven’t, be thankful.
