Following the temporary suspension of activities due to the recent Magnitude 7.8 Earthquake on June 08, 2026, the College Entrance Examination and SHS Entrance Examination for Late Enrollees will resume on June 19, 2026 (Friday).

‼️To all our Summer Class and Bridging Class students,

Thank you for attending the 𝗢𝗻𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗣𝘀𝘆𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗴𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗙𝗶𝗿𝘀𝘁 𝗔𝗶𝗱 (𝗣𝗙𝗔) sessions facilitated earlier for students affected by the recent earthquake.

The Online Psychological First Aid (PFA) sessions were spearheaded by the Guidance Office, led by Ms. Vanessa Fernandez, RGC, RPm, in collaboration with the Psychology Instructors led by Dr. Mary Glenda Lugtu, RPsy, and the Nursing Instructors, whose collective efforts helped provide timely support and assistance to our students.

We will be opening additional sessions on June 11, 2026 (Thursday) and June 13, 2026 (Saturday) for Dokistas who may need emotional support, reassurance, and assistance in coping with the effects of the recent earthquake.

📢 ADVISORY

In view of the strong earthquake that affected General Santos City and nearby areas this morning, and to ensure the safety and well-being of all students, employees, and stakeholders, GSDMSFI hereby announces the cancelation of all onsite classes, work, and meetings starting today, June 9, 2026.

This suspension covers all academic, administrative, and non-academic operations until further notice. Students and employees are advised to remain vigilant, monitor official advisories from local authorities, and inspect their surroundings for possible structural damage before re-entering any building.

Further announcements regarding the resumption of classes and work will be issued through the official GSDMSFI communication channels.

Please stay safe and observe proper earthquake and aftershock safety protocols.
