Pero sa pamamagitan ng maagang testing, tamang gamutan, at regular na konsultasyon, maaaring mabawasan ang panganib na maipasa ang HIV kay baby. 👩‍⚕️👶
Mahalagang malaman ang iyong HIV status para sa mas ligtas na pagbubuntis at mas malusog na kinabukasan para kay mommy at baby.
Magpatingin sa pinakamalapit na health center o HIV care facility para sa libreng HIV counseling, testing at treatment services. 💖

Our Clinic extends its heartfelt gratitude to the Katipunan ng Kabataan SK Federation of Brgy. Pasong Kawayan 1 headed by SK Chairman Mr. Godwyn Latag (and SK Council) together with LYDO Ma’am Lyn Kempis for spearheading this meaningful youth-centered advocacy activity.

Today, we discussed the importance of STI-HIV/AIDS awareness, prevention, education, and responsible health practices among the youth. Through open conversations and community engagement, we continue to empower young individuals with the right knowledge to protect themselves and others.

This activity was attended and facilitated by our dedicated Case Managers, Masashi and Abby, together with our Peer Navigators, Jeiseun and Shaun.

Ang detergent, sabon, toothpaste, o anumang kemikal ay HINDI gamot sa tulo (gonorrhea). Maaari pa itong magdulot ng matinding iritasyon, sugat, impeksyon, at mas lalong makasama sa kalusugan.

✅ Ang gonorrhea ay isang sexually transmitted infection (STI) na nangangailangan ng tamang pagsusuri at wastong antibiotic treatment mula sa health professional.

Kung may nararamdamang:
• pananakit o hapdi sa pag-ihi
• nana o discharge
• pangangati o pamamaga

👉 Magtungo agad sa ating tanggapan para sa mabilis at libreng gamutan.

Ang diskriminasyon sa trabaho batay sa HIV status ay nangyayari pa rin — sa pamamagitan ng sapilitang pagbubunyag, hindi pantay na pagtrato, at pagkawala ng oportunidad.

Dapat malaman ng bawat manggagawa: sa ilalim ng Republic Act 11166 o ang Philippine HIV and AIDS Policy Act, ilegal ang tanggalin sa trabaho, tanggihan, o pilitin kang magbunyag ng iyong HIV status. Protektado ka ng batas. At nararapat kang magtrabaho nang may dignidad — anuman ang iyong katayuan sa kalusugan.

DFA STATEMENT ON MEDICAL CERTIFICATE REQUIREMENT FOR FILIPINO TRAVELLERS TO OMAN

MANILA 17 April 2026 - The Department of Foreign Affairs has made strong representations with the Oman Embassy in Manila for the removal of the negative HIV medical certificate requirement for all Filipino travellers to Oman.

The Omani Embassy in Manila clarified that the HIV certificate applies only to tourists availing of the visa-free entry to Oman, and not to those who were issued work visas.

The Embassy added that this requirement is currently being seriously reviewed by the Omani government, and that a meeting next week is set to discuss the matter.
The DFA expects a positive outcome given the good and strong relationship between the Philippines and Oman.
