It’s more than just play. 🧩💛

As the Saturdays go by, the kids are slowly becoming more comfortable with one another—joining in, taking turns, sharing, and having fun together.

Small moments, but meaningful progress. 🌱

Before ABCs and 123s, let’s teach our little ones how to communicate. 💛

Functional communication helps children express their needs, wants, choices, feelings, and ideas—whether through words, gestures, signs, pointing, pictures, or communication devices. It builds confidence, reduces frustration, and creates a strong foundation for learning and social connection. 🌱✨

👶 For babies: pointing, reaching, gestures, sounds, and simple signs
🧒 For older children: words, short phrases, choices, asking for help, and expressing feelings

At Skill Weavers Development & Learning Center, we believe that communication comes first—because every child deserves a way to be heard and understood. 💙💚
