💊 PHILHEALTH GAMOT — FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
1. Ano po ang PhilHealth GAMOT?
Ang PhilHealth GAMOT ay isang benefit ng PhilHealth na nagbibigay ng assistance para sa covered outpatient medicines ng qualified PhilHealth members and beneficiaries through the GAMOT program.
2. Magkano po ang GAMOT benefit?
Ang qualified member/beneficiary ay maaaring magkaroon ng up to ₱20,000 worth of covered medicines per year, subject to PhilHealth rules and eligibility.
3. Sino po ang maaaring mag-avail?
Qualified PhilHealth members and beneficiaries who are registered/empaneled with a YAKAP (Yamang Kalusugan) primary care facility and meet the requirements of the GAMOT program may avail of the benefit.
4. Saan po ako magsisimula?
Kung hindi pa po kayo registered sa YAKAP, maaari kayong magsimula sa inyong RHU (Rural Health Unit) or other PhilHealth-accredited YAKAP facility.
5. Kailangan po ba munang magpa-consult?
Opo. Kailangan po kayong ma-assess ng authorized YAKAP physician. Kung kailangan ninyo ng gamot, ang doctor ang mag-iissue ng appropriate GAMOT prescription.
6. Pwede po ba ang ordinary prescription?
Hindi po automatic na covered ang ordinary prescription. Para sa GAMOT benefit, kailangang ma-meet ang PhilHealth requirements at ang prescription ay kailangang valid under the GAMOT program.
7. Lahat po ba ng gamot ay covered?
Hindi po lahat. Ang gamot ay kailangang kabilang sa mga medicines covered under the PhilHealth GAMOT list/program. Iche-check po namin ang prescription bago i-process.
8. Pwede po bang pumunta agad sa Carelab Pharmacy?
Kung mayroon na po kayong valid GAMOT prescription, maaari po kayong pumunta sa Carelab Pharmacy para ma-verify at ma-process ang inyong covered medicines.
Kung wala pa po kayong GAMOT prescription, mas mabuting magsimula muna sa RHU/YAKAP facility para sa registration at consultation.
9. Ano po ang kailangan dalhin?
Maaaring kailanganin ang inyong PhilHealth details/PIN at valid identification, pati ang inyong GAMOT prescription. Para makasiguro, maaari po kayong mag-message sa amin bago pumunta para ma-guide namin kayo sa requirements.
10. May bayad po ba ang gamot?
Kung ang gamot ay covered at may available benefit, maaari itong ma-avail through GAMOT subject to PhilHealth rules, prescription, benefit balance, and other applicable conditions. Ang mga gamot na hindi covered ay maaaring hindi maisama sa benefit.
11. Pwede po ba akong gumamit ng GAMOT kahit may ibang health insurance ako?
Ang eligibility at coordination ng benefits ay depende sa PhilHealth rules. Iche-check po muna namin ang inyong eligibility and available benefit bago i-process ang claim.
12. Pwede po bang ibang tao ang kumuha ng gamot para sa akin?
Depende po sa PhilHealth requirements and verification process. Message po muna kayo sa Carelab Pharmacy para ma-check namin kung ano ang kailangan para sa authorized representative.
13. Paano ko malalaman kung qualified ako?
Pwede po kayong magsimula sa inyong RHU/YAKAP facility para ma-check ang inyong registration and eligibility. Maaari rin po kayong mag-message sa Carelab Pharmacy para matulungan namin kayong malaman ang next step.
14. May available bang lahat ng gamot sa Carelab Pharmacy?
Depende po sa prescription at current stock. Iche-check po namin ang availability ng covered medicine bago i-dispense.
15. Paano po mag-avail sa Carelab Pharmacy?
Simple lang po:
1️⃣ Magpa-register/empanel sa YAKAP
2️⃣ Magpa-consult sa RHU/YAKAP physician
3️⃣ Kumuha ng valid GAMOT prescription kung may prescribed medicine
4️⃣ Dalhin ang prescription at necessary details sa Carelab Pharmacy
5️⃣ Iche-check namin ang eligibility, prescription, coverage, at availability
6️⃣ I-process namin ang covered medicines according to PhilHealth GAMOT guidelines
