Learning Arrangements for August 13-14, 2026 (Thursday & Friday)

In view of the forecasted high heat index, La Salle Academy will observe the following learning arrangements on August 13–14, 2026:
​Basic Education (Kinder to Grade 10) and Night High School will shift from face-to-face classes to synchronous online classes.
​Senior High School will proceed with the scheduled examinations as planned.

This temporary adjustment is observed as a precautionary measure to safeguard the health and well-being of our learners and personnel while ensuring continuity of learning.

Last week, we conducted a series of Mental Health Talks for our learners across the different school levels—Grade School, Junior High School, and Night High School.

Together, we explored what mental health is, understood how stress affects us, learned practical coping strategies, and discovered that asking for help is not a sign of weakness—it is a sign of courage.

As we continue to foster a caring and supportive Lasallian community, may we always remember:

La Salle Academy has released an official advisory regarding the suspension of classes on July 9–10, 2026 (Thursday and Friday).

Kindly refer to the official announcement below for complete details.

In compliance with the Executive Order issued by the Office of the City Mayor of Iligan, classes in all levels at La Salle Academy are suspended on July 9 and 10, 2026 (Thursday and Friday).

The suspension is due to the expected effects of Tropical Cyclone “Inday” and the Enhanced Southwest Monsoon (Habagat), which may bring moderate to heavy rainfall and possible flooding.

To ensure the continuity of learning, students are advised to accomplish the asynchronous learning activities or other learning tasks as directed by their teachers. Further instructions will be communicated through the official class group chats and learning platforms.

We encourage everyone to prioritize safety, stay indoors when possible, and monitor official weather advisories and announcements from the City Government of Iligan and PAGASA.
