Happy Mother’s Day. 🌷

One of the best decisions I made as a doctor and as a mother was to stop doing Sunday clinics.

There was a time when even Sundays meant hospital rounds, patient calls, and endless work. But I realized that while I was taking care of everyone else, I also needed to protect time for the people waiting for me at home.

Now, Sundays are non-negotiable. For my son. For my family. For the moments I cannot get back.

Medicine is a calling, but motherhood is too. And sometimes, balance means choosing to pause, to rest, and to simply be present.

To all the moms in healthcare and every hardworking mother out there β€” may you never feel guilty for choosing your family too. πŸ’›
