The younger you have the vaccine (teens), the better. This is best gift you can give to your daughter or niece.

For young adults, its never too late to have yourselves vaccinated.

A new study finds that hundreds of lives have been saved since school-age girls were offered the HPV jab in 2008.

Hypertensive disorders of pregnancy (HDPs) complicate 5-10% of all pregnancies worldwide. The month of May is Preeclampsia Awareness Month. This is a global initiative dedicated to raising awareness about the signs and symptoms of this serious pregnancy complication to improve early detection and save lives, not only for you but also your little one.

PCOS just got a new medical update

𝗣𝗖𝗢𝗦 𝗷𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝗴𝗼𝘁 𝗮 𝗺𝗮𝗷𝗼𝗿 𝗺𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝘂𝗽𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗲.

PCOS has officially been renamed to PMOS — Polyendocrine Metabolic Ovarian Syndrome — following an international consensus published in The Lancet.

The change was made because the term “polycystic o***y syndrome” was considered misleading. Many patients diagnosed with PCOS do not actually have ovarian cysts, while the condition itself involves broader endocrine and metabolic abnormalities beyond the ovaries.

PMOS aims to better reflect the full spectrum of the disease, which has been associated with insulin resistance, irregular menstruation, hyperandrogenism, infertility, obesity, dyslipidemia, and increased cardiovascular and diabetes risk.

Current diagnostic approaches and treatment principles remain largely unchanged for now, and the term PCOS will likely continue to be widely used during the transition period.
