STRENGTHENING HEALTH HABITS: Making Health the Easier Choice

On August 6 and 7, 2026, Batch 3 and Batch 4 of WVMC employees came together at Punta Villa, Arevalo, Iloilo City for “Strengthening Health Habits: An Introduction to the 7 Priority Areas of Health Promotion.”

More than simply learning about health promotion, the activity encouraged participants to understand, experience, and apply healthier choices in everyday life.

Through interactive and practical activities aligned with the 7 Priority Areas of Health Promotion, participants explored simple and meaningful ways to care for their health—at work, at home, and in their communities. To reinforce these lessons, behavior change support materials were also provided to help turn knowledge into everyday action.

At the heart of the activity is a shared vision: a healthier Western Visayas Medical Center where health is the easier choice— for everyone, every time, everywhere.
Because building a culture of health begins with the choices we make today—and when we make those choices together, we create a healthier workplace for all.

Healthier habits. Healthier people. Healthier WVMC.
