πππππ || Five years ago today, amid the challenges of the pandemic, we celebrated Independence Day not with grand festivities, but through an act of compassion and service. Through our Mobile Community Pantry, we were able to reach 123 families, including our hardworking barangay tanods, health workers, and volunteers who continued serving despite the difficulties brought by the MECQ.
This memory reminds me that leadership is not about being seen during the best of times, but about showing up when people need help the most. In a season of uncertainty, our community chose kindness over fear, unity over division, and hope over despair. What seemed like a simple initiative became a powerful reminder that even the smallest acts of generosity can make a meaningful difference in the lives of others.
Looking back, I am filled with gratitude for every individual, organization, and volunteer who became part of this journey. Together, we proved that the spirit of bayanihan remains alive in Nabitasan. Let this memory inspire us to continue serving with compassion, sharing our blessings, and always choosing to THINK BIG for the welfare of our community.β¨ππ€β¨
