A heartfelt thank you to the Local Government Unit of Dumarao and the Dumarao Primary Care Facility for warmly hosting the Community-based Advocacy Lecture on Newborn Screening. Thank you for being our partners in spreading awareness and strengthening the Newborn Screening Program in the community. 👶💙

The presence of our confirmed patients who are now healthy and thriving despite having the disorders made the activity even more meaningful. Their stories are a powerful testament to what Newborn Screening can do—detect disorders early, allow timely treatment and intervention, and give children the opportunity to grow and live healthier lives.

The first Community-based Advocacy Lecture on Newborn Screening in Aklan Province was successfully held and hosted by the Banga Rural Health Unit and Birthing Center.
This meaningful activity was made possible thtough the support and collaboration of the Aklan Provincial Health Office and Banga LGU.
May this advocacy lecture help strengthen our community's understanding of the NBS Program and emphasize the importance of early detection in giving every newbor a healthier start in life.
Together, we continue to bring newborn screening closer to our communities and help save more lives. 👶🙏

A successful Community-Based Advocacy Lecture on Newborn Screening in Hinoba-an! đź’™

We are grateful to Hinoba-an District Hospital and the Local Government Unit of Hinoba-an for hosting this meaningful activity, the first Community-Based Advocacy Lecture on Newborn Screening conducted in the southern part of Negros Occidental.
