Conducted in partnership with the Philippine Red Cross – Iloilo Chapter, the activity brought together individuals and organizations with one shared purpose—to help save lives through the gift of blood. ❤️

🥗 Healthy Choices Begin with the Right Knowledge.

In celebration of the MIHMCI 8th Anniversary and Nutrition Month, Metro Iloilo Hospital & Medical Center, Inc. successfully conducted its Nutrition Month Talk, "Healthy Choices, Healthier Communities: Understanding Nutrition Beyond Diet Trends," on July 28, 2026, at the MIHMCI Ancillary Hall.

The seminar brought together participants from different barangays for an engaging discussion on making informed nutrition and lifestyle choices based on individual health needs, not just popular diet trends. Through meaningful conversations and expert guidance, the event reinforced the importance of preventive healthcare and empowered participants to make healthier decisions for themselves, their families, and their communities.

This meaningful initiative was organized through the Panay Comprehensive Diabetes and Metabolic Center (PCDMC). We extend our heartfelt gratitude to our guest speaker, Dr. Ma. Rona N. Pet, our participating barangays, partners, sponsors, and everyone who helped make this event a success. We also express our sincere appreciation to Dr. Grace Ariete-Albaña, Hospital Administrator, and Dr. Roland Uy, Hospital President/CEO, for their steadfast leadership and continued support in making initiatives like this possible. Together, we continue to build healthier communities, one informed choice at a time.

Continuous learning strengthens our commitment to quality healthcare.

On July 14, 2026, Metro Iloilo Hospital & Medical Center conducted a Re-orientation on Hospital Policies and Forms, bringing together our healthcare professionals and staff to reinforce institutional policies, standardize documentation practices, and ensure the consistent delivery of safe, efficient, and patient-centered care.

The session covered the following key topics:
• Generics Act of 1988 (Republic Act No. 6675)
• Proper Accomplishment of the Interdepartmental Referral Form
• Complete Documentation of Patient History in the History Record
• Proper Accomplishment of the Mental Status Examination Form

Through initiatives like these, we are continuing to strengthen our commitment to excellence, accountability, and high-quality patient care, because every policy followed and every record completed accurately contributes to better healthcare outcomes.

Congratulations to the organizers on the successful Seafarers' Wellness Festival 2026!

Metro Iloilo Hospital & Medical Center, Inc. (MIHMCI) is grateful to have been part of this meaningful event as one of the medical support teams during the event held on June 27, 2026.

It was our privilege to support an initiative dedicated to promoting the health and well-being of our seafarers and the maritime community. We sincerely thank the organizers for the opportunity and trust to be part of this event, and we appreciate everyone who visited our booth and engaged with our team, and we would also thank Dr. Klarence Alovera and the medical team for their efforts in representing the hospital at the event
