As the streets come alive with music, colors, and celebration, one team quietly stands ready behind the scenes.

The DCANHS Senior Red Cross Youth (SRCY) proudly serves as part of the Duty Rescue Team during the Hinugyaw sa Kadagatan 2026. While others enjoy the festivities, we remain alert, prepared, and committed to ensuring the safety and well-being of every participant and spectator.

Every duty reminds us that volunteerism is not measured by recognition, but by the willingness to serve whenever and wherever we are needed. From providing first aid to responding to emergencies, we carry our responsibility with compassion, discipline, and dedication because every life matters.

This duty is more than just wearing the Red Cross uniform—it is a promise to put humanity first. We are honored to serve our community and be part of an event that celebrates the rich culture, unity, and spirit of Carles.

The Senior Red Cross Youth of Don Casimero Andrada National High School (DCANHS) proudly rendered first aid and safety services during the Hinugyaw sa Kadagatan Opening Salvo, held in celebration of the Carles Foundation Day.

As the festivities came alive, our volunteers remained alert and ready to respond, ensuring the safety and well-being of participants, guests, and spectators throughout the event. Every duty reminds us that service is not just a responsibility, it is a commitment to humanity.

A special congratulations to the Don Casimero Andrada National High School Dancers for their outstanding performance and for proudly representing our school during the opening celebration. Your passion, energy, and dedication truly added color and pride to this year’s festivities. We are proud of each one of you! 💃🕺✨

🌱🌳 TREE PLANTING ACTIVITY 2026 🌳🌱

Last January 23, 2026, the DCANHS – SRCY Council successfully conducted a meaningful and impactful Tree Planting Activity headed by our ever-supportive and dedicated adviser, Ma’am Aileen. This activity was not just a simple gathering it was a movement driven by unity, responsibility, and genuine love for our environment. 💚

With enthusiastic hearts and willing hands, students, officers, and volunteers came together with one goal: to make a difference. Each seedling we planted symbolizes hope for a greener tomorrow, strength for our community, and commitment to protecting Mother Earth. 🌍

Tree planting is more than just putting a plant into the soil. It is about understanding the importance of environmental preservation. Trees help reduce pollution, prevent soil erosion, provide shade, and create a healthier and safer environment for everyone. Through this activity, we were reminded that even small actions, when done together, can create a lasting and powerful impact.

The leadership of Ma’am Aileen truly inspired us to take initiative and be responsible stewards of nature. Her guidance encouraged the council and participants to actively engage, cooperate, and work as one team. Because of this, the activity became not only productive but also memorable and meaningful.

This event strengthened our teamwork, unity, and sense of purpose as youth leaders. We learned that caring for the environment is not just a one-day responsibility. It is a continuous commitment. As students and future leaders, we have the power to influence positive change in our school and community.

Let us continue planting not only trees but also values of responsibility, discipline, and environmental awareness. Together, we can grow a greener campus and a better future for the next generations. 🌱💚

A healthy future begins with healthy students. Through the leadership of Ma’am Aileen, our DCANHS SRCY Council Adviser, this Health Advocacy activity reminded us that taking care of ourselves is just as important as achieving our dreams.

Today’s activity encouraged everyone to be more mindful of their health — from choosing nutritious food and staying physically active to giving importance to our mental and emotional well-being. Because being healthy is not only about avoiding illness, but also about building good habits that help us grow into stronger and more responsible individuals.

As students, we carry the future in our hands. By supporting one another and promoting positive lifestyles, we create a school community that is active, confident, and ready to face tomorrow’s challenges.

Let this be a reminder that small healthy choices today can lead to a brighter and stronger future for all of us. 💚
