Mae Hope who is 35 weeks pregnant got the RSV vaccine at the clinic today.
The Respiratory Syncytial Virus vaccine is recommended for pregnant moms from 32 -36 weeks of gestation to protect their infants from Lower Respiratory Tract Disease for the first 6 months of their lives when their immune system is still developing . It is FDA approved , safe and has 69.4% protection against severe RSV infection.

UPDATE: President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. announces expanded maternity benefits under PhilHealth.

For normal deliveries, coverage is expanded from P9,759 to P29,000. For cesarean deliveries, PhilHealth coverage is expanded from P37,000 to P58,000-62,000. | via Jervis Manahan, ABS-CBN News
