To help you prepare for unexpected emergencies/disasters, here are some safety reminders and emergency preparedness tips:

🎒 WHAT SHOULD YOUR EMERGENCY GO-BAG HAVE? (At least good for 3 days supplies of the ff:)
✔️ Water & ready-to-eat food for older kids and adults (breastfeeding for babies)
✔️ Essential medicines & first-aid kit
✔️ Diapers & baby essentials
✔️ Extra clothes, blankets etc
✔️ Flashlight & batteries, loud whistle
✔️ Phone & power bank
✔️ Important documents, IDs
✔️ Emergency cash
✔️ Hygiene essentials
✔️ Survival tools such as knife, windproof matches, paracord, etc
🎒 MAINTAIN YOUR EMERGENCY GO-BAG
✔️ Keep it somewhere dry and in an easy to reach area near the exit door
✔️ Check it every 3–6 months
✔️ Replace expired food and medicines
✔️ Refill anything you use
✔️ Update clothes, diapers, and baby supplies as your child grows
⚠️WHAT TO DO IN TIMES OF DISASTER?
Always follow official advisories
🌧️ TYPHOON — Stay indoors, away from windows. Charge all devices early. Keep mosquitoes away during rainy days and use clean, boiled water
🌊 FLOOD — Do not wade in floodwater; move to higher ground immediately. If exposed to floodwater, seek consult for leptospirosis prophylaxis
🌍 EARTHQUAKE — DROP • COVER • HOLD
🔥 FIRE — GET OUT • STAY OUT. Know your exits and never go back inside.
👨👩👧👦 MAKE A FAMILY PLAN
Know your evacuation route, emergency contacts, and family meeting place. Practice simple emergency drills with your children so they know what to do when the unexpected happens.
🩺 HEALTH TIP: Protect children from stagnant water and flood to prevent dengue and leptospirosis. Seek consult once with symptoms.
