Yes, may instances na di lalabas ang placenta. Pero maawa naman kayu sa pasyente!
Manual removal of placenta should be under anesthesia.
Kung mag neurogenic shock uroy sa sobrang sakit kay walay anesthesia?

Sino nakaranas na manual tanggalin ang placenta? Kahit natanggal ang placenta kung may natira na maliit na parts kakalikutin si uterus para matanggal🥹

Kahit hindi ka umiire mapapa ere ka sa sobrang sakit😭

𝗡𝗘𝗪 𝗨𝗣𝗗𝗔𝗧𝗘 | 𝗡𝗜𝗖𝗘 𝗡𝗚𝟭𝟮𝟲 𝗨𝗽𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝟯 (𝗙𝗲𝗯𝗿𝘂𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲): 𝗔𝗻𝘁𝗶-𝗗 𝗜𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗼𝗴𝗹𝗼𝗯𝘂𝗹𝗶𝗻 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗽𝗵𝘆𝗹𝗮𝘅𝗶𝘀

The February 2026 update to NICE NG126 – Ectopic Pregnancy and Miscarriage: Diagnosis and Initial Management introduces an important change to the use of anti-D immunoglobulin prophylaxis in RhD-negative women with early pregnancy loss or ectopic pregnancy.

Key Recommendations

Do NOT offer anti-D to RhD-negative women with:

- Miscarriage before 12+0 weeks
- Ectopic pregnancy before 12+0 weeks
- Regardless of whether management is expectant, medical, or surgical

Offer anti-D immunoglobulin to RhD-negative women:

- 12+0 to 12+6 weeks gestation
- Undergoing medical or surgical management for miscarriage or ectopic pregnancy

Threatened miscarriage (12+0–12+6 weeks):

- Consider anti-D if bleeding is heavy or recurrent

Why was the guidance changed?

- Current evidence shows no convincing benefit of routine anti-D administration before 12 weeks in preventing Rh sensitisation.
- Fetomaternal haemorrhage is uncommon in very early pregnancy.
- The update supports evidence-based practice, reduces unnecessary exposure to a blood-derived product, and simplifies early pregnancy care.
