Para sa mga liwanag na hindi man laging abot, patuloy pa ring ginagabayan tayo sa dilim.

A song about longing, hope, and the quiet light we keep looking for.

P.S. I wrote this song with my wife in heart during a time that we were having a conflict. Just goes to show it is her I long for despite of dark times. Been wanting to work on this for some time thank God I was able to post this just in time for her birthday.

Ang mga kantang ito ay nanggaling sa mga realidad ng buhay — sa pag-ibig, pangungulila, pag-asa, pakikibaka, pagpapaubaya, at sa mga tahimik na bigat na madalas tayo lang ang may dalang mag-isa.

Mandirigma
Pagpaubaya
at ngayon, Anino.

Bawat kanta ay nanggaling sa iba’t ibang yugto ng aking buhay at paglalakbay sa sarili.

Ang Anino, bilang pinakabago kong kanta, ay tungkol sa pagharap at pagtanggap sa sarili — hindi lang sa magaganda nating bahagi, kundi pati sa mga sugat, takot, pagkukulang, at imperpeksiyong madalas nating ikinukubli.

Dahil marahil, ang pagiging buo ay hindi nagsisimula sa pagiging perpekto, kundi sa pagtanggap kahit sa mga bahagi ng sarili na matagal nating tinatakasan.

A few days have passed since Unang Pagtitipon, but the feeling still stays with me.

Standing there, sharing these songs, I realized again why I keep coming back to music. It gives shape to the things I don’t always know how to say.

Thank you to everyone who listened, stayed, and became part of that night.

This was more than a performance.

It was a beginning.
