Today, we recognize and appreciate pharmacists for their important role in healthcare. 💚

Pharmacists help patients understand their medicines, including how and when to take them, possible side effects, and important precautions. They also work closely with other healthcare professionals to support safe and appropriate medication use.

Let’s thank the pharmacists who help make every step of patient care safer.

Happy World Pharmacists Day!

Not everything we see or read online is accurate. Health information can spread quickly, but that does not always mean it is safe or reliable.

Before following or sharing health advice, take a moment to check the source, look at the date, and compare the information with other trusted health sources. Be cautious of claims about miracle cures, quick treatments, or guaranteed results.

When you are unsure, ask a qualified healthcare professional for proper guidance. Taking the time to verify information can help you avoid misinformation and make safer, more informed decisions for yourself and your loved ones.

Choose health information you can trust. Think before you share. Your health deserves reliable knowledge. 💚

Peace is more than the absence of conflict. It can also be found in kindness, understanding, respect, and compassion toward others.

A kind word, a helping hand, or simply taking the time to listen can make a difference in someone’s day. Let’s help create a community where everyone feels respected, supported, and cared for. 💚

🧡 WORLD PATIENT SAFETY DAY 2026 🧡
Panay Health Care Multi-Purpose Cooperative

“Safe Care for Life!”
Safe care for noncommunicable diseases

In celebration of World Patient Safety Day 2026, the Panay Health Care Multi-Purpose Cooperative joined the global call for safer, quality, and people-centered health care.

As part of our celebration, our dedicated staff came together for a meaningful Commitment Wall, where each member of our team signed their name as a personal pledge to uphold patient safety, provide quality care, and continuously promote a culture of safety in our workplace.

Every signature represents a commitment:

🧡 To put patient safety first
🧡 To provide safe and quality health care
🧡 To listen, communicate, and work as one team
🧡 To prevent avoidable harm and learn from every experience
🧡 To support patients throughout their health care journey
🧡 To make safe care a commitment for life

As a symbol of our solidarity with the global patient safety movement, we also lit our facility in orange. The orange light represents our shared commitment to safer care and our collective responsibility to protect every patient we serve.

Through this simple yet meaningful activity, we are reminded that patient safety is not only a responsibility—it is a commitment shared by everyone.

Together, let us continue to build a culture where every patient feels safe, heard, respected, and cared for.

🧡 Panay Health Care Multi-Purpose Cooperative
United in Commitment. Dedicated to Safety. Safe Care for Life!

Patient safety is a shared responsibility. 💚 Patients should feel comfortable asking questions, confirming instructions, and telling healthcare providers about changes in their condition.

Good communication helps healthcare teams provide safer and more appropriate care.

Never be afraid to ask. Speaking up can help prevent mistakes and improve care.

The nose helps filter, warm, and humidify the air you breathe. Tiny hairs and mucus can also help trap dust, germs, and other particles before they travel deeper into the respiratory system.

Breathing through the nose also helps prepare the air before it reaches your lungs, making the air more comfortable for your airways.

Your nose does more than you think! Take care of it and breathe easy. 🫁💚

Lymphoma is a type of cancer that affects the lymphatic system, a part of the body that helps fight infections.

Some possible signs and symptoms include swollen lymph nodes or lumps, unexplained fever, night sweats, unexplained weight loss, feeling unusually tired, or persistent itching.

These signs can also be caused by other health conditions and do not always mean lymphoma.

Pay attention to changes in your body. If you notice symptoms that continue or concern you, talk to a healthcare professional. ❤️

Have you ever noticed your heart beating faster when you exercise, feel nervous, excited, or stressed?

Your heart rate naturally changes depending on your body's needs. During physical activity, your muscles need more oxygen, so your heart pumps faster to deliver oxygen-rich blood throughout the body.

Emotions, stress, fever, and certain substances can also affect your heart rate.
Pay attention to your body. A healthy heart works hard for you every day. ❤️

If you experience persistent or concerning changes in your heartbeat, especially with chest pain, fainting, or difficulty breathing, seek medical advice.
