FRAUD ADVISORY
The Management of Aklan Cooperative Mission Hospital (ACMH) wishes to inform the public of reports involving individuals falsely claiming to be hospital staff, representatives, or authorized personnel of ACMH.
These individuals may contact patients, relatives, or members of the public through phone calls, text messages, social media, or other online platforms and may:
* Request payments through personal bank accounts, e-wallets, or online money transfer services.
* Ask for sensitive personal information, account details, passwords, or verification codes.
* Offer to release or provide confidential diagnostic, laboratory, imaging, or other medical results in exchange for payment.
* Misrepresent themselves as authorized hospital personnel to solicit money or information.
Please be advised that ACMH does not request payments through personal accounts of its employees, nor does it release confidential medical records or diagnostic results through unauthorized channels.
For your protection:
1. Do not send money or make online payments to individuals claiming to represent ACMH without proper verification.
2. Do not disclose personal, financial, or medical information to unknown persons.
3. Verify any request for payment or release of medical information directly with the hospital through its official communication channels.
4. Report any suspicious calls, messages, or transactions immediately to ACMH and the appropriate authorities.
The hospital remains committed to protecting the privacy, security, and welfare of its patients and stakeholders. We urge everyone to remain vigilant against fraudulent activities and scams.
