HANDOG PASASALAMT SURGICAL MISSION 2026

Thank you very much to everyone who attended, participated, and helped make the surgical mission at BPH Kalilangan on July 4, 2026, a success. We were able to serve 28 patients through minor surgeries, provide 63 surgical consultations, and 16 patients were screened for major surgery in BPMC.

This surgical mission in BPH Kalilangan by Gov Oneil Roque was in collaboration with the PGB-OL 4 Health Surgical team, Office of the Congressional 4th District, Congresswoman Laarni Lavin Roque supported by BM Rj Pepito in partnership with the PCS-NM Chapter, MCOSt and SOSP-MASO.

We remain steadfast in our commitment to provide compassionate, quality healthcare and to serve every Filipino, especially those who need it most.

The Bukidnon Provincial Hospital – KALILANGAN & Bukidnon Provincial Medical Center, in partnership with the PGB-OL 4 Health Rapid Surgical Team, the Office of Congresswoman Laarni Lavin Roque, and the Office of 4th District Board Member Ranulfo Jose Jr. Z. BPH Kalilangan held a “Preventive Education and Advocacy Programs to Counter Substance Abuse Seminar” on March 30–31, 2026. This activity aimed to equip staff with the knowledge and skills to address substance use and addiction, as well as educate them on the biological, psychological, and social aspects of addiction to support effective prevention and intervention, in line with Department of Health guidelines.

The topics included the Effects of Dangerous Drugs, RA 9165, and the Drug-Free Workplace Program, which were presented by dedicated and esteemed PDEA Regional Office 10 personnel IO II Ruth C. Hidalgo, IA I Patricio S. Alerta Jr., and SO 2 Christian Hays G. Renacia.

Together, we strengthen our commitment to a safe, healthy, and drug-free workplace, promoting a healthier workforce for all.

BPH KALILANGAN employees and its Animal Bite Treatment Center Coordinators once again commemorated the Annual Rabies Awareness Celebration this March with a half-day activity full of educational and informative lectures and fun-filled activities, prepared by the leading committee and the BukSU interns.

For this year, the focus is on vaccination being the key to preventing this deadly disease. With this, we remind and encourage the community to promptly go to the nearest Animal Bite Treatment Center (ABTC) for your post exposure prophylaxis after an animal bite (dog, cat).

Let's work together to eliminate rabies and protect our communities.
