TAKE YOUR HELPING PRACTICE TO THE NEXT LEVEL
Join the GESTALT LIFE COACHING AND PSYCHOTHERAPY TRAINING AND CERTIFICATION PROGRAM
Learn a way of helping that is experiential, whole-person, relational, creative, and grounded in the here-and-now.
The Gestalt approach attends not only to what people think and do, but also to emotion, bodily experience, relationships, context, awareness, choice, and meaning. Its goal is not simply problem-solving, but helping people become more aware, integrated, self-supporting, and able to respond more effectively to the realities of their lives.
WHAT MAKES THIS PROGRAM DISTINCTIVE?
• Experiential and hands-on. Participants learn Gestalt not only through lectures, but through demonstrations, guided exercises, skills practice, reflection, feedback, and supervised learning experiences.
• Personal as well as professional. Gestalt recognizes that the person of the helper matters. The training therefore integrates the development of helping competencies with opportunities for greater self-awareness, integration, balance, and ginhawa.
• Interactive and engaging. Learning takes place through dialogue, practice, experimentation, reflection, and shared discovery.
• Contextualized for Philippine realities. Gestalt concepts, skills, and training methods are explored in relation to Filipino ways of relating, helping, working, and making meaning.
• Whole-person and relational. Participants learn to attend to thinking, feeling, behavior, body, relationships, environment, and context rather than reducing a person to a problem that needs to be “fixed.”
• Locally accessible and professionally grounded. The full program consists of six modules or 36 training days, spread over approximately 18 months, making sustained Gestalt training available locally without the added cost and logistics of overseas study.
• Community-building. Graduates are invited into a growing community of Gestalt practitioners who can continue learning from and supporting one another.
MODULE 1 — PAGHAHANDA SA PAGTULONG: A 6-Day Experiential Foundations in Gestalt Helping and Coaching Skills (October 10,11, 17, 18, 24, 25, 2026)
Module 1 is both the entry point to the full Training and Certification Program and a meaningful foundational learning experience in itself.
Whether you work in an office, clinic, school, ministry, organization, or community setting, this foundational module can help you develop practical Gestalt helping and coaching skills grounded in a whole-person, relational, and experiential approach to growth and change—skills that provide a foundation for both coaching and psychotherapy.
The six days introduce participants to the attitudes, concepts, ethical boundaries, and practical skills needed to help people become more aware of themselves and their situation, clarify concerns, discover possibilities, make meaningful choices, and move toward constructive action.

MODULE 5 — SARILI BILANG KASANGKAPAN: Personal Awareness, Growth, and Integration
A deeply experiential module focused on the person of the practitioner. Participants explore their own patterns, unfinished concerns, relational styles, strengths, vulnerabilities, and ways of being present so that personal awareness can support increasingly responsible and authentic practice.
MODULE 6 — PAGSASABUHAY NG GESTALT: Integration, Application, and Future Professional Pathways
The culminating module brings together Gestalt theory, personal development, helping skills, ethics, and application. Participants consolidate their learning, identify continuing areas for development, and clarify how Gestalt may be responsibly integrated into their professional and helping roles.
Modules 2–6 will be offered progressively through 2027 and early 2028. Detailed schedules will be announced separately.
TWO PROFESSIONAL OUTCOMES — WITH DIFFERENT REQUIREMENTS
The full six-module program is designed for both coaches/people helpers and qualified mental-health professionals.
Participants who complete the required training and competency requirements may pursue Gestalt Life Coach certification.
Gestalt Psychotherapist certification is reserved for appropriately qualified and licensed mental-health professionals who, in addition to completing the six-module program, fulfill the prescribed clinical supervision, practice, and certification examination requirements.
This distinction protects professional scope of practice while allowing participants from different professions to share a rich common foundation in Gestalt.
