๐Ÿ’ง SAFE WATER, HEALTHY COMMUNITY! ๐Ÿ’ง

In partnership with the Environmental-Health Laboratory Services Cooperative (EHLSC), the Rural Health Unit (RHU) โ€“ Kapatagan conducted water quality testing among water refilling stations and various establishments in the Municipality of Kapatagan, Lanao del Norte.

This initiative aims to help ensure the safety, cleanliness, and quality of water being provided to the public, particularly water intended for drinking and other activities where water quality is essential. Through regular water quality monitoring and testing, the RHU continues to promote safe water practices, prevent waterborne diseases, and protect the health and well-being of every Kapataganon.

The conduct of this activity is part of the continuing commitment of the Local Government Unit of Kapatagan to strengthen Environmental and Occupational Health (EOH) programs and ensure that establishments comply with the necessary health and sanitation standards.

We extend our sincere appreciation to our Municipal Mayor, Hon. Beth Baguio - Ali, for her continued support and initiatives toward strengthening health and sanitation services in our municipality; to our Municipal Vice Mayor, Hon. Barry Y. Baguio; Municipal Administrator Harris Umpa-Ali; and to all our Sangguniang Bayan Members for their invaluable support and commitment to programs that prioritize the health and safety of our community. ๐Ÿ™Œ

September 2-4, 2026 || Another meaningful learning journey as we continue our Municipal Leadership and Development Program (MLDP) Module 2.

Module 2 is another opportunity to strengthen our commitment as local leaders and health partners, to look beyond the challenges, understand the system, identify opportunities for improvement, and work together toward solutions that are responsive, sustainable, and people-centered.

MLDP reminds us that meaningful change in health does not happen through one person or one office alone. It happens when leaders, health workers, partners, and the community come together with one vision and one commitment: Building Together a healthier future-ready Kapatagan.

We are grateful to our Municipal Mayor, Hon. Beth Baguio - Ali for her continued support and commitment to our health programs. Her commitment to strengthening local health initiatives shows that when local leadership makes health a priority, it creates opportunities for better services, stronger partnerships, and a healthier future for the people of Lungsod Sa Kapatagan. Leadership that supports health is leadership that invests in people.
