๐๐ซ๐๐ง๐ฌ๐ข๐๐ง๐ญ ๐๐ฅ๐๐ฌ๐ญ๐จ๐ ๐ซ๐๐ฉ๐ก๐ฒ (or Liver Elastography) is a non-invasive medical imaging technique that measures both the fat content and the stiffness, or degree of fibrosis, of the liver. Basing on the results of the liver scan, appropriate preventive measures can be taken, whether the patient needs lifestyle changes alone or requires more urgent medical treatment, to halt or prevent the progression of fatty liver into liver cirrhosis or even liver cancer. ๐
This test is quick, painless, and uses an ultrasound-like probe to send a vibration wave into the liver to determine liver fattiness and stiffness. ๐ง
