🌻NUTRIHEALTH Fest Year 6

🌴i-TreeD mho BES(Breastfeeding Exclusive Story)

The vital importance of breastfeeding was given special focus during the NutriHealth Fest through the activity "i-TreeD mho BES" – which stands for 3D Art Breastfeeding Exclusive Stories.

The name carries a meaningful link to this year’s Nutrition Month theme "Nutrisyon at Kalikasan ating Pangalagaan!" – with "tree" symbolizing the strong, nourishing bond between nutrition and nature. Nine (9) Barangay Health stations took part in this meaningful initiative.

Entries were evaluated by a panel of esteemed guests from the Cagayan Valley Center for Health Development (CVCHD):

✨ DAY 2 HIGHLIGHT: The Adorable JuanKlympics! ✨

Our NutriHealth Fest got even sweeter as 9 cute little participants from different Barangay Health Stations gathered for a fun-filled day of games and joy!

Bringing pride and joy to their communities were:
👶Angelo Tabangcura, son of Jhun Michael and Evangeline Tabangcura from Catugan;
👶Ezhayan Gray Balais, son of George and Emalyn Balais from Sta. Maria;
👶Keisha Mateo, daughter of Kevin Carl Mateo and Sheila Aguilor from Bicud;
👶Zeilan Gab Castor, son of Jimbo Castor and Mary Joy Saingan from Alaguia;
👶Jaykhane Matthew Ponce, son of M-Jay and Karen Ponce from Maxingal;
👶Blythe Jaxon Aguada, son of Beejay and Michelle Aguada from Binag;
👶Khalix Deocareza, son of Nikko and Liezl Deocareza from Cullit;
👶Liam Ace Lagunay, son of Alfredo Vinagrera and Lorena Lagunay from Catayauan; and
👶 Jhon-Ric Tolento, son of Rico Fullante and Lauren Mae Tolento from Bical.

After a delightful competition that warmed every heart in attendance, the winners were announced with great excitement. Taking home the top honor as Champion was Baby Ezhayan Gray Balais. Following closely behind were Baby Jaykhane Matthew Ponce as 1st Runner-up, and Baby Blythe Jaxon Aguada as 2nd Runner-up.

The event was truly made special with the presence of our very own JuanK champion, Baby Olivia Verniece Becker Pascual - daughter of our beloved Mayor Oliver Pascual-Boses ng Masa and Ms. Jilen Becker.

Laughter, smiles, and so much fun filled the whole venue today! This is such a wonderful way to celebrate healthy growth and happy little ones in our community.

🌴NUTRIHEALTH FEST 2026 | Day 1

⚽️"Kami naMeN"

Recognizing that women are celebrated annually during Women's Month while there is no dedicated Men's Month observance, the Lal-lo Rural Health Unit conceptualized "Kami NaMen" as a special activity to recognize the important role of men in the family and the community and to promote their health and well-being.

The activity served as a venue to raise awareness on men's health issues, encourage healthy lifestyles, and emphasize the importance of preventive health care as they participate in the different booths of our NutriHealth fest.

Through interactive discussions and fellowship activities, the program encouraged men to become more proactive in caring for their physical, mental, and emotional health. It also highlighted their significant role as partners, fathers, workers, and community leaders in building healthier families and communities at the Tribo MACHO booth.

We thank Ms. Angeline Cabison Agluba for the Road Safety talk and Dr. Kae-Cee White Dela Rosa for the health lecture.

And what a blessing it was to celebrate the birthday of the head and the "Father" of Provincial DOH Office of Cagayan , Dr. Reygene Caratiquit! Thank you Dr. Reygene for your warm message and continued guidance.

NUTRIHEALTH FEST 2026: A WRAP-UP!

What an amazing and successful 2-day celebration we had last July 23-24, 2026!

Day 1 was absolutely jam-packed with fun, energy, and creativity! We kicked things off with a lively Zumba session that got everyone moving. This was followed by the official opening and judging of our 18 Nutribooths, the high-spirited Nutri Cheers and Yells Competition, and the colorful Paint Your Diet: Pot Painting Contest.

Thank you to everyone who joined, participated, and supported our NutriHealth Fest 2026! Here’s to healthier habits and stronger communities!
