Our anesthesia residents together with the University of Perpetual Help Medical Center Las Pinas Department of Anesthesiology residents had the privilege of participating in a hands-on Desflurane Wet Clinic facilitated by Dr. Roan Jocson, an esteemed Thoracic Anesthesiologist. Through this interactive session, our residents gained valuable practical experience and enhanced their understanding of desflurane administration, vaporizer operation, troubleshooting, and its clinical applications in modern anesthesia practice.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Roan Jocson for generously sharing his expertise, insights, and passion for teaching. Opportunities like these strengthen our commitment to excellence in anesthesia education and ensure that our future anesthesiologists are equipped with the knowledge and skills to provide safe, evidence-based patient care.

Dr. Angelica R. Llorin

A hardworking and dedicated Chief Resident, Dr. Llorin has consistently demonstrated exemplary leadership and commitment to the training program. She was a key member of our Tagisan ng Talino team, whose outstanding performance helped place our institution among the country’s most respected anesthesiology training centers.

Dr. Daphnie Marie M. Yayen

Our Assistant Chief Resident, Dr. Yayen has brought great distinction to our department. Having successfully passed the Diplomate Examination, she further elevated the reputation of our institution through her research presentations at both the KoreAnesthesia and the ASEAN Congress of Anesthesiologists , acceptance to the World Congress of Anesthesiologists showcasing the quality of work produced by our hospital on the international stage.

Dr. James Brian Q. Wanasen

Known for his reliability and professionalism, Dr. Wanasen has earned the respect and admiration of both his peers and junior residents. He is recognized for his exceptional proficiency in regional anesthesia and airway management, skills that have made him a dependable clinician and mentor within the department.

Dr. Angelo Benedict L. Tan

Quiet yet remarkably dependable, Dr. Tan exemplifies excellence through action. A valued member of our Tagisan ng Talino team, he has consistently demonstrated academic distinction, culminating in his successful passage of the Diplomate Examination. His dedication and perseverance serve as an inspiration to those who follow in his footsteps.
