-Seal of Good Local Governance (SGLG) 2023
Luna was among four Apayao municipalities awarded the prestigious SGLG by the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) in December 2023.This recognition honors local government units (LGUs) that demonstrate excellence in areas such as financial administration, disaster preparedness, and social protection.Each awardee received a ₱1.8 million incentive to support local development initiatives.
-National Anti-Drug Abuse Council (ADAC) Performance Award 2024
In December 2024, Luna was recognized at the national level for its outstanding efforts in combating illegal drugs, showcasing effective local anti-drug programs and community engagement.

-Most Environmentally Friendly Municipality
Luna earned this title in a provincial competition, receiving a ₱300,000 cash priz. The award highlighted the municipality's initiatives in waste reduction, energy conservation, green infrastructure, and community participation in environmental programs.

- First LGU in CAR to Receive DOTr Compliance for Safe Transportation
In early 2024, Luna became the first local government unit in the Cordillera Administrative Region (CAR) to receive a Notice of Compliance from the Department of Transportation (DOT)This was in recognition of its approved Local Public Transport Route Plan (LPTRP), aligning with the Public Utility Vehicle Modernization Program (PUVMP)

- 2024 Apayao Provincial Athletic Meet Champions
Luna's delegation achieved a record-breaking performance by securing 82 gold medals, surpassing their previous year's tal.This success underscores the municipality's investment in youth and sports development
- Incentives for CARAA and Palarong Pambansa Athletes
